The Senior Investigator provides scientific and programmatic support to the Implementation Science Methods Unit (ISMU) within the TraCS Institute, home of the NIH-funded CTSA at UNC Chapel Hill, serving as both a project leader and contributor on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Work with ISMU faculty on research projects and evaluations in collaboration with UNC Health
- Conduct interviews and focus groups
- Analyze qualitative data
- Descriptively summarize quantitative data (e.g., creating tables)
- Contribute to writing manuscripts and preparing presentations
- Provide consultations and resources to investigators who are developing grant proposals with an implementation focus or aim
- Track ISMU activities and prepare reports for TraCS leadership
- Oversee updates of content for the Implementation Science Exchange website
- Supervise the work of graduate student research assistants
- Coordinate and lead meetings for the ISMU
- Coordinate speakers and webinars
- Develop collaborative working relationships with leaders and other professionals
- Explain and apply implementation science concepts and terminology for clinicians, practices, and policy audiences
- Join or liaise with individual projects and pilot studies
- Assist the ISMU co-directors and TraCS leadership with other duties as assigned
