The University of Lincoln School of Psychology is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Psychology with an expertise in addictions. The post is open to ambitious, research-driven individuals with a background in any area of addictions, although preference will be given to those with experience of research into gambling and other behavioural addictions. The successful candidate will have experience of researching in the area and should demonstrate a strong publication record, a substantial potential for funding and an understanding of the current areas of research, theory, policy and public health practices.
The successful candidate must also hold a PhD in a relevant field and be willing to contribute to a thriving research culture in Psychology at The University of Lincoln. They should also possess the broad range of skills required to teach effectively at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
