Seeking to make an appointment of a Research Fellow to join the NIHR funded Applied Research Collaboration Mental Health Implementation Network (MHIN). The MHIN works to support the delivery and evaluation of evidence based mental health interventions in England. This includes working with local and regional organisations to enable the adoption and spread of national projects with a proven evidence base, as well as the refining projects to develop and pilot selected interventions in the local healthcare system, with a view to scaling up. The Research Fellow will work with a bespoke consortium of MHIN projects to evaluate the implementation of mental health interventions in different regions of England. This post is based in the evaluation team of the MHIN led by Professor Annette Boaz (LSHTM) and Professor Nick Sevdalis (King’s College London).
There will be opportunities to contribute to the wider academic activities of the Faculty of Public Health and Policy (to include teaching and assessment) and to participate in appropriate training and quality assurance processes for such roles.
Applicants should have a PhD (or equivalent) in applied health, social or behavioural sciences or implementation science other relevant discipline and relevant experience in conducting complex evaluations using both qualitative and quantitative methods of enquiry, working in multi-disciplinary teams and projects, like the MHIN consortium, and publishing research.
