The newly founded Institute for Implementation Science in Health Care IfIS is based at the Medical Faculty. Implementation Science bridges the gap between medical science and care delivery.
The research group of Implementation Science in Health Care at University of Zurich is looking for a Senior Researcher (MD).
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and carry out implementation science in health care research projects.
- Disseminate research results through presentations at conferences and publications in peer reviewed journals.
- Provide medical expertise as part of an interdisciplinary group.
- Contribute to establishing a novel implementation science curriculum at the Medical Faculty.
- Contribute to further education and consulting in implementation science.
- Prepare applications for competitive research funding.
- Initial research activities will focus on antimicrobial stewardship. Further topics depend on the candidate's interest.
Profile
- Academic clinician or holder of a Facharzttitel Pharmazeutische Medizin or equivalent.
- Track record of research publications and conference papers.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, excellent oral and written communication and effective inter-professional skills.
- Fluent in English, working proficiency in German.
- Strong interest in keeping up with emerging trends and best practices in implementation science.
- Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative.
- Training or experience in implementation science is an advantage.
