Alcohol-Related Liver Disease: Guidance for Good Practice

Alcohol-Related Liver Disease: Guidance for Good Practice

The Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems (SHAAP) is pleased to invite you to the national launch of SHAAP’s ‘Alcohol-related liver disease: Guidance for Good Practice’ and delighted that Dr Catherine Calderwood, the Chief Medical Officer, has agreed to speak.

The guidance has been produced through a highly collaborative process over two years, involving physicians, patients, voluntary sector and advocacy groups, academics and Scottish government representatives. The purpose of the guidance is to support improvement of the level of care delivered for individuals at risk of, and patients with, alcohol-related liver disease across Scotland.

This conference is of interest to all clinicians treating patients with alcohol-related liver disease; researchers, voluntary sector, patients and advocates.
