The 2nd European Conference on Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies is a multidisciplinary conference that provides a forum for networking across the addictions.

The conference is organised around three themes:

• Understanding addictions: Under this theme we welcome presentations that provide a state of the art understanding of the nature, scale and impact of addictive behaviours, their health, behavioural, social correlates, and how addictions can be theoretically constructed.
• From evidence to action: Under this theme we welcome research findings that inform the development, targeting and delivery of effective policies and interventions across the addictions field.
• Addiction horizons: Under this theme we welcome presentations that extend the frontiers of addiction knowledge, identify new threats and challenges and highlight new opportunities for action.
