IPREV is a modern tool designed to assist prevention practitioners, particularly those in schools and educational institutions implementing comprehensive prevention programs, as well as external providers offering such programs in the Czech Republic. IPREV effectively supports the building, management, monitoring, and improvement of these programs. The platform promotes system-anchored prevention and enables schools to connect with local program providers within the community or as close as possible to children’s natural environments, schools themselves, and associated child and family support services.
The IPREV platform is primarily intended for prevention professionals, such as school prevention officers, district and regional prevention officers, and staff in organizations and agencies providing prevention services to schools. Specific sections are also available for the general public, parents and caregivers, officials, and other interested parties.
The goal of IPREV is to create a user-friendly environment that fosters effective, economically feasible, sustainable, and attractive prevention activities for children and adolescents in Czech schools. IPREV maximizes the principle of a decentralized system and highlights the community-based approach to prevention work, delivered directly in the local community or as close as possible to children’s and schools’ natural environments.
