"Power of Peers in Substance Use Prevention: Building Healthy Minds to Thrive"

Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Karachi, Pakistan has organized a One Day National Conference on "Substance Use and Mental Health Comorbidities in Youth: Challenges and Opportunities in Prevention and Treatment". As part of this Conference we have organized pre-conference workshops and one of the important workshop for youth group is "Power of Peers in Substance Use Prevention: Building Healthy Minds to Thrive". This session will help youth in understanding about the drug use, risk and protective factors for substance use, myths and facts related to substance use, and how to address substance use and mental health using evidence based preventive strategies. This training session not only help them to address these issues but also be helpful in how to help others (peers) in delaying and addressing these issues.
