Webinar: Alcohol Interventions for Males on Remand in Prison

Alcohol use and offending behaviour often go together. Data from the Alcohol and Crime Commission indicates that 70% of the prison population in the UK, who are mostly young males, reported that they had been drinking when they committed their offence.

Researchers from the University of Edinburgh and Teesside University have been investigating the prevalence of alcohol-related harm amongst adult males in the prison setting as well as developing and exploring the acceptability of a self-efficacy alcohol intervention for males on remand. In this webinar you will have a chance to hear about the methods, challenges and findings.
