This webinar will provide key information about the new R01 and R21 funding opportunity announcement, Tobacco Use and HIV in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (PAR-17-087 [R01] and PAR-17-086 [R21])

Epidemiologist Dr. Mark Parascandola of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Tobacco Control Research Branch will provide an overview of a new funding opportunity that aims to develop and evaluate tobacco cessation interventions tailored to HIV-positive populations - including those with co-morbidities such as tuberculosis (TB) - in low-resource settings in low- and middle-income countries.

Intended Audience: Extramural investigators at junior, mid-, and senior levels. We welcome international research applicants.
